SCAPE on front page of Pensacola News Journal

Last month, SCAPE team members were in Pensacola, Florida for the CivicCon workshop series, where they presented a plan for transforming Pensacola’s downtown waterfront, based on feedback and ideas from the local community. The resulting ideas were featured on yesterday’s front page of Pensacola News Journal, which you can read in full here. SCAPE’s design ideas included constructing a “bay way” that connects the downtown waterfront east to west, which would daylight the two downtown creeks, creating more public access points to the water and building up the the surrounding streets and neighborhoods to be more pedestrian friendly.
