Kaleen Juarez, RLA, WEDG, is a Director at SCAPE. Her approach to design is driven by a desire to merge ecology, equity, and research-based solutions to create positive change in how cities are experienced every day. Working at multiple scales, she designs and manages a range of projects focusing on the delivery of complex built urban spaces.
Kaleen holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of California Berkeley College of Environmental Design, where she served as a teaching assistant for core research methods courses in the Environmental Science, Policy and Management Department. She has also developed research methodology for landscape performance in fuel modification zones and biodiversity targets in wildland urban interfaces.
